By downloading, installing, or using Pet Dose Tracker ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
1. Nature of the Service
Pet Dose Tracker is a medication tracking and reminder tool. It is designed to help pet owners organize and remember their pets' medication schedules. The App is not a medical device, veterinary service, or substitute for professional veterinary care.
2. Important Medical Disclaimer
THE APP DOES NOT PROVIDE VETERINARY ADVICE, DIAGNOSES, OR TREATMENT RECOMMENDATIONS. All medication decisions — including dosage, frequency, timing, and drug interactions — must be made by a licensed veterinarian. The App merely records and reminds you of information you enter.
You acknowledge and agree that:
- The App is a tracking and reminder tool only
- You are solely responsible for the accuracy of all medication information you enter
- You must always follow your veterinarian's instructions regarding your pet's medications
- The App should never replace regular veterinary consultations
- Notification failures (due to device settings, network issues, or software bugs) do not constitute grounds for liability
- You should not rely solely on the App for critical or life-saving medication administration
3. User Responsibilities
As a user of the App, you agree to:
- Provide accurate medication information as prescribed by your veterinarian
- Maintain your own independent records of your pet's medication schedule
- Not rely exclusively on push notifications for time-sensitive medications
- Keep your account credentials secure and not share them with unauthorized persons
- Use the App in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Not upload inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content (including pet photos)
4. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PET DOSE TRACKER, ITS DEVELOPERS, AFFILIATES, AND PARTNERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- Any harm, injury, illness, or death to any animal resulting from the use or inability to use the App
- Missed medications due to notification failures, device issues, or software bugs
- Incorrect dosage information entered by the user
- Any veterinary expenses, treatments, or losses arising from reliance on the App
- Loss of data, including medication schedules and dose history
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
YOUR USE OF THE APP IS ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK. The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
5. Accounts and Subscriptions
Free Tier: Basic medication tracking, reminders, and dose logging are available for free.
Premium Tier: Additional features including vet appointment tracking, pet sharing, advanced analytics, and website featuring are available through a paid subscription. Subscription terms, pricing, and renewal policies are managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, and their respective terms apply.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any features at any time, with or without notice.
6. User Content
You retain ownership of all content you upload (pet photos, notes, etc.). By enabling "Feature on Website," you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display your pet's name, photo, species, and breed on petdosetracker.com. You can revoke this license at any time by disabling the feature.
7. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted from our servers.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Pet Dose Tracker and its developers from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or any harm to your pet related to medication management.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
10. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
11. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of material changes through the App or email.
